Lake Arenal Dangerously Low Water Levels

Lake Arenal, a power and food source important to nearly half of Costa Rican citizens, is dangeroulsy low. The rainy season is slowly starting, but if the drizzle today is any indication of the rains to come, then we are in for a difficult next year, with electricity rate increases and food shortages.
